Rare, early cyclist's guide and map-book for California, with the ten maps covering the various regions of California, from the Los Angeles area north to Red Bluff, and inland to Yosemite and the Sierra. OCLC/WorldCat lists only six copies of this third edition, which follows on editions of 1893 and 1895. The maps in the third edition are smaller than in the first two editions, "so they could be more easily folded into the book and be less likely to be torn when opened in the wind." They have, however, been bound out of order in this copy. Ownership signature on first page, expense tally on rear pastedown.
