2 Volumes. xvi, [2], 307; xii, [2], 256 pp. 1 photogravure frontispiece, many plates, including 8 in color, and profusely illustrated within text; 1 folding map. (8vo) original green cloth decorated in black, navy blue, brown, and gilt. First American Edition.

On a trip to Tibet in 1897 the author was captured and tortured. Even after that experience, he returned to Tibet again, and later published this volume, providing an account of his experience with hundreds of illustrations and photographs.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
