Account of travels in Egypt by Thomas Legh in 1812-1813, together with Reverend Charles Smelt and François Barthow. The map is "Map of the Nile, from the Cataracts to Ibrim." The engraved plate is "Specimens of Thebaic Manuscripts." Legh was one of the first Europeans to visit the archaeological sites above the first cataract. In an attractive modern binding reminiscent of the period with a full description of the rebinding process and materials used laid in.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
