Rare booklet promoting a scheme to bring water to San Francisco from the watersheds of the South Fork of the American River and the North Fork of the Cosumnes River. The proposed solution to supplying the San Francisco Bay Area with water was, of course, beat out by the forces bent on damming the Tuolumne River at Hetch Hetchy.
