Rare little promotional brochure produced for distribution to attendees of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, extolling the commercial, agricultural and scenic virtues of "that section adjoining San Francisco city and county on the south," containing the cities of South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, San Mateo, Belmont, Redwood City, etc. The city of San Mateo itself was incorporated September 4, 1894. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two copies, at the University of California, Berkeley, and Ohio University.
