3 volumes. Profusely illustrated with color plates and text illustrations, some fold out, with additional portfolio with loose colored maps laid in, some folding. Includes 2 large Folio volumes, original brown and beige decorative boards with gilt stamped lettering, along with large portfolio (46x41 cm (18½x16"),) bound as the books, with leather clasp, containing additional suite of loose color maps. All together, 3 volumes including portfolio. First Edition.

A most elaborate study of the mapping of Mexico, from the pre-Cortesian times up to the early 20th century. Volume 1 deals with La Nacion, the country as a whole, while Volume 2 deals with each state individually, both volumes featuring high quality reproductions in both color and black & white.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
