Description:

First edition. Elisha Bartlett (1804-1855) was a medical doctor, professor and poet who served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and as the first mayor of Lowell, Massachusetts. Dark green decorative cloth boards stamped in gilt on the spine.

Condition:
About very good with old bookseller's stamp at base of title page, dark shadowing to yellow-coated endpapers (presumably due to the binding glue), first and last several leaves foxed, and minor spotting to boards. Still a nice copy.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
