Description:

Two volumes. The first volume, in blue printed wrappers, contains text and six full page reproductions of ukiyo-e prints, five of which are in color. The second and larger volume, in original gold brocade silk covers, contains text and approximately 120 pages with single or multiple B&W images of ukiyo-e prints. (Folio) 39.5x27 cm (10¾x15½"), housed together in a patterned cloth folder with bone closures.

Scarce in any condition and perhaps the rarest title by John Stewart Happer.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
