  • 3 cdv portraits of Lockwood as a young soldier during the Civil War (2 vignette head shots, 1 of him standing in a studio), 2 with imprint of Whitehurst Gallery, Washington D.C. on reverse.
  • 2 cdv full length portraits of Lockwood's mother and father, with notes on the back that young Lockwood carried them through the war.
  • Outdoor cdv of a military camp, but location inked on the back is indecipherable. 
  • 2 photographs from 1910 showing the would Lockwood received at Petersburgh, VA, in 1864.
  • Photograph of Lockwood standing with his son, c.1918, both in uniform of the U.S. Army - the son served in France during WWII.
  • Photograph of Lockwood standing next to an "Ex-Confederate" taken in 1907.
  • 10 photos of Lockwood at GAR events and commemorations, c.1914-1923.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
