340, [2] + [6] ad pp. Illustrated throughout with color and black & white drawings by John R. Neill. (8vo) original light green cloth stamped in dark green, red and yellow; pictorial endpapers. First Edition.

Second state of p.35 with the "C" in "Chapter" not overlapping the text; binding variant 'B' in light tan cloth. Scarce copy with Montgomery & Stone endpapers used in the 5th edition of the Land of Oz (circa 1917) pasted over the correct Patchwork Girl endpapers and replacing the correct free endpapers. Bienvenue & Schmidt, p. 52.

Condition:
Some soiling to cloth with rubbing to extremities, leaning a bit; crease to bottom corner of front free endpaper, page edges starting to tone a bit; very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
