22 leaves of poems by various authors, each signed by their author on the leaf. Plus 3 original hand-colored artworks by Jack Hirschman, Neeli Cherkovski, and Soheyl Dahi, plus an unsigned print by William T. Vollmann who did the drawing specifically for this portfolio based on the Diane Di Prima's poem in this portfolio. All housed together in a black portfolio with ties, lettered in silver. No. 42 of 75 copies.

"This is a gathering of the Beats, younger and elder, in the wild and bleak days at the beginning of the 21st century in the last empire. Artists have answered the call and come together to once again renew their sense of community..." from the title leaf introduction by Soheyl Dahi. Only 5 copies located by OCLC / Worldcat. Includes signed poems from four of San Francisco's Poet Laureates plus the ultra-rare signature of the late Lenore Kandel and the late Harold Norse. Also includes a poem from the recently departed Los Angeles poet, Wanda Coleman.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
