Frontispiece portrait of l'Estrange laid down. (Folio) 32.5x17.5 cm (12½x7¾"), modern full paneled calf, morocco spine label lettered in gilt. Second Edition, Corrected and Amended.

Wonderful 17th century printing of Aesop's fables, in Roger L'Estrange's esteemed translation, which did much to further their popularity in English. Wing A-707.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
