[6], 128 pp. (12mo) 16,5x9.7 cm (6½x3¾"), period straight-grain brown morocco with gilt-roll borders on covers, spine tooled in gilt, morocco lettering pieces, marbled endpapers.

Scarce combined edition of Lord Byron's Lara and Samuel Rogers' Jacqueline. Old ink commentary on front and rear flyleaves, one page in French (dated 1820), and three in English.

Condition:
Rebacked with original spine strip laid down, a few pieces missing, wear to corners, a few scuffs and stains to covers; front free endpaper with fore-margin trimmed, following flyleaf partially detached, some internal soiling, good condition.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
