Scarce pictorial review of the Angelus Church in Los Angeles, the large, domed church building at 1100 Glendale Blvd. in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles, considered one of the first megachurches. Aimee Semple McPherson, 1890-1944, was a Canadian-American Pentecostal evangelist and media celebrity in the 1920s and 1930s, founder of the Foursquare Church - in her time she was the most publicized Christian evangelist, surpassing Billy Sunday and her other predecessors. Only two copies of this booklet are listed in OCLC/World, at the University of California Los Angeles and the Boston Athenaeum, with the title given as "Angelus Temple pictorial review..."
