Scarce volume from this series of reports on the sanitary conditions of the domestic water supply of Great Britain. The maps include Geological, Hyetographical, and Hydrographical maps of the British Isles; a "Map of the Polluted River Basins of Great Britain;"  a map of the "New River Channel South of Green lanes Station;" and, most significantly, a "Plan Shewing the Ascertained Deaths From Cholera in part of the Parishes of St. James, Westminster, and St. Anne Soho, During the Summer and Autumn of 1854," 58.5x81 cm (23x31¾"); and a smaller, uncolored, detail map of the affected area taken from John Snow's famous map of 1855. More than 600 people perished in the 1854 "Broad Street Cholera Outbreak".
