The scarce third book by the prolific British author and adventurer. Contains a detailed description of the manners, customs, and religion of the Sindh region, culled from his five year sojourn in what is now Pakistan. Casada 60; Penzer p.40.

Binding worn, spine chipped, front joint split, rear joint starting, early owner's name on front endpapers, later bookplate on rear endpaper; folding map with an old repair to a short stub tear, some irregular creasing; inkstamp on title page, light foxing; good.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
