A manuscript label inside the front cover reads "For the sake of Auld Land Sine to my old friend The Commodore! Wm. Yanert." Inside the rear cover is a red inkstamp stating that this was mailed from inside the Arctic Circle at Fort Yukon, Alaska. With an additional 16 duplicate leaves of text, a few with illustrations, and 15 duplicate full page plates, not bound in. OCLC locates only 5 copies, with varying numbers of illustrations. No copies in auction records and one copy in the trade, that copy without illustrations. Also included is a 20 pp. typed biographical essay on Yanert by Ralph W. Newcomb.
