  • London. Ca. 1816. Printed and Sold by J. Evans & Son. English chapbook. 12mo (19cm). 8 pages. Wraps with title and vignette on page 1. Small pin holes on left edge where pamphlet was once stitched. Light wear. Old ink name written on title page. Scarce. OCLC locates 2 copies in U.S. libraries and 1 in Wales (as of 3/2014).
  • Boston. Printed by Chester Stebbins. 1812. Octavo. Stitched wraps with title printed on page 1.  Ex-library with faded "Library of University of Vermont" stamp upper left corner of title page. Light toning and a few scattered spots. Untrimmed edges. Pages 105 to 118 have a large slanted chip upper edge. No loss of printed content. Old period ink signature top of title page.   • New York. 1961. The New York Public Library. Octavos. Seven books: 46pp; 73pp; 107pp; 71pp; 88pp; 93pp; 45pp. Light blue softcovers with titles printed on front covers and spines. Content covers Union States Regimentals and Narratives. Very light shelf wear. Previous owner stamp upper right corner of title pages.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
