Handsomely bound collection of letters from the physician and man of letters who also wrote occasional pieces with his sister Anna Barbauld. These wide-ranging pieces comment on poetry from the classics, Phoebus and Daphne, Homer's Iliad, Milton's Paradise Lost, Samuel Johnson, etc. Scarce.
