Jones, Henry Arthur

Printed at the Chiswick Press

(8vo), period full vellum, gilt lettering to spine, cloth ties, all edges gilt. First Edition.

One of many of English Dramatist Henry Arthur Jones' plays which were privately printed. This one is particularly rare, with no auction records being located in a number of decades. This copy from the library of author, socialite and mixologist Crosby Gaige, with his bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. Gaige wrote many books on food and bartending.
