Unpaginated. Printed in black, green, and red. (4to), original red cloth decorated in gilt. One of 500 hardcover copies from a total edition of 1500.  First Collected Edition. 

Christopher Knowles is an American poet and painter. In 1976, his poetry was used by Robert Wilson for the avant-garde minimalist Phillip Glass opera, Einstein on the Beach.  Scarce in cloth.

This volume is divided into two chapters, the first being "Poems" containing material mostly used as lyrics for Einstein on the Beach. The second chapter is "Other Typings,"  consisting of concrete poetry printed in multiple colors.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
