Inscribed in blue ink on the front free endpaper, "To George Sanders - with the very best wishes, John Kennedy." George R. Sanders, Jr., was a radio personality in Southern California who began collecting autographs of celebrities he interviewed, eventually devoting the majority of his time and efforts to acquiring and selling autograph material. He and his wife, Helen A. Sanders, produced The Price Guide to Autographs, which went through many updated editions. The book is accompanied by an 8x10" glossy photograph of George Sanders interviewing John F. Kennedy. The book has the bookplate of George Sanders on the front pastedown, along with the small sticker of Vroman's, Pasadena. With code "L-G" on the copyright page, indicating the book was printed in November, 1957, the year following the first edition, first printing. Provenance: Helen A. [Doolittle] and George R. Sanders.

Lot Amendments

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
