Colored lithograph broadside, 49.5x38 cm (19½x15"), with five original photographs mounted in appropriate spaces, and with numerous penned manuscript annotations.

Military engagements are noted in manuscript in space provided in the bottom panels. The Regiment saw a lot of bloody action: Locust Grove, Unions Mills, Battle of the Wilderness, Spottsylvania, Manasas Gap, Col Habro, Monocacy, North Anna, “In front of Petersbourgh” and present at the “Surrender of Lee.” In the center are listed the privates and non-commissioned officers, with a brief added notation beside most names…. Lost Leg, Killed at Cold Harbor, Blind, Wounded, Small Pox, Killed, Killed, Deserted [11 desertions]. No copies located in OCLC. Peabody Essex Museum has a similar print for the 14th Mass. Regiment; Vermont Historical Society has a 1992 reprint of a similar print for 15th Regiment, Vermont Volunteers.
