[39] pp. Profusely illustrated from photographs; folding bird's-eye view & map. 12.5x20 cm (5x7¾"), pictorial wrappers with raised lettering in gilt. First Edition. 

Splendid promotional brochure for Long Beach, primarily consisting of photographs but with some text extolling its excellent climate, points of interest, hotels and boarding houses, and how to get there. The bird's-eye view shows the city and its beachfront, with a map on the back showing Southern Pacific rail lines in Southern California. OCLC/WorldCat lists only five copies, at the California State Library, Long Beach Public Library, the Huntington Library, the University of California Berkeley, and the University of California Davis.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
