Description:

Copper-engraved map, hand-colored in outline, colored pictorial cartouche. 31x40.5 cm. (12¼x16").

Interesting map of North America just following the American Revolution, though the settlements along the eastern seaboard are still called "Colonie Inglesi"; Louisiana boldly encompassing everything to the west, and there is a river stretching from a huge lake in Canada all the way to the Pacific, with the northwest coast quite speculative.
