A selection of works on Colleen Moore's famous dollhouse, including an inscribed copy of The Enchanted Castle, and a rare cut-out book with all cut-outs in their original state. No copies of the cut-out book are listed at OCLC. 

Colleen Moore was an American film actress who began her career during the silent film era. Moore became one of the most fashionable stars of the era and helped popularize the bobbed haircut. Moore nurtured a passion for dollhouses throughout her life and helped design and curate The Colleen Moore Dollhouse, which has been a featured exhibit at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry since the early 1950s. The dollhouse, measuring 9 square feet  was estimated in 1985 to be worth of $7 million, and it is seen by 1.5 million people annually.

  • Colleen Moore's Doll House Cut-Outs. Illustrated throughout from photographs and color cut-outs to attach to other pages. (Oblong 4to), cloth-backed pictorial semi-stiff wrappers. Cut-out figures on gummed sheets interleaved with pictorial pages. All sheets in oriignal un-cut condition. General light wear and toning; about near fine.  Ullman Manufacturing Co., 1935.
  • Moore, Colleen. The Enchanted Castle. 63 pp. Illustrated by Marie A. Lawson. (4to), cloth-backed decorative boards, matching dust jacket. Inscribed by Colleen Moore on the half-title. Some wear and soiling to jacket and boards; very good. Garden City Publishing Co., 1936.
