Adèle d'Osmond, Comtesse de Boigne was a French aristocrat and writer. She was born and raised at the Palace of Versailles before her family went into exile during the French Revolution. She kept a brilliant salon in Paris in the 1830s and 1840s, and was later known for these memoirs describing life under the July Monarchy. A handsomely bound set.
