Description:

Seven Volumes. Frontispiece portrait in Volume I engraved by Francesco Zucchi, engraved title page vignettes, woodcut head- and tailpieces, historiated initials. (4to) 23.2x17 cm (9¼x6¾") mottled calf, spine tooled and lettered in gilt, raised bands, edges stained red. 

Contents Include: Tractatus de vita, mysteriis, et annis Jesu Christi Servatoris nostri, contra infideles, judaeos, et haereticos, dissertationibus dogmaticis, et chronologicis. Institutional stamps on title pages, early owner inscriptions on front free endpapers in some volumes.
 

 


Lot Amendments

Condition:
Bindings with varying degrees of rubbing and scratching, Volumes IV and V show cracks at bottom of spine panels; varying degrees of dampstaining, and toning inside, Volume V with cracked front hinge, Volume I with heavier toning to textblock; overall very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
