[24], 471 pp. Title page printed in red & black, with woodcut device. woodcut initials, head & tailpieces. (4to) 20x14.5 cm (8x6"), period calf, recased with new endpapers, repairs to corners and spine ends. 

Rare Portuguese edition of the "Introduction to the Devout Life" by Francis de Sales (1567-1622), onetime Bishop of Geneva. No copies of this edition are listed in OCLC/WorldCat.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
