Description:
No. 126 PL Meisterstück push-knob filler. Platinum-striped celluloid, black hard rubber captop and endpiece, gold-plated "tie" clip and cap band, endpiece marked "126 PL / F". 122mm. Fine two-tone 4810 circle-vent Montblanc  nib, medium flex. Excellent condition, nearly pristine, no cracks or flaws except for a minor light scuff to the cap and a few tiny brassing spots to band. An exceptional example of this highly-prized pen.
-Wallrafen, Stefan & Jens Rösler, Collectible Stars I: Montblanc 1908-1947. [Cologne: 2014], pp. 100-101. Scarcity rating of 8 (on 12-point scale), indicating "extremely rare".
-Lambrou, Andreas. Fountain Pens of the World. [Los Angeles: 2005], pp. 264-265. The No. 126 PL is not pictured, perhaps due to its rarity, but other PL models are represented.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. For international shipments are preferred carrier is FedEx..For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
