Scarce biography of James Henry Coffin, mathematician, meteorologist, and educator. Inscribed on the front  flyleaf in 1881 by Selden J Coffin, son and successor to his father as Professor of Mathematics at Lafayette.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
