The most important account of the tragic Texan expedition against Mier and the drawing of the black beans, this is also one of the most vitriolic Texas books. Streeter Texas 1581: "One of the dramatic episodes in Texas history." It is mentioned by Streeter in his introduction as one of the two well-known accounts of the expedition.
