  • Hebel, Johann Peter. Francisca and Other Stories. Lexington: Anvil Press, 1957. Translated by Clavia Goodman and Bayard Quincy Morgan, appreciation by Emil Strauss. xiv, 108 pp. One of 175 numbered copies. Original paper-covered boards with title printed in black on spine, in the original printed dust jacket with a woodcut by Victor Hammer after a drawing by Leo Delitz. Book design by Victor Hammer, press work by Jacob Hammer. Some foxing to top edge, minor rubbing to jacket edges.
  • Evans, Henry. Bohemian San Francisco [bound together with:] Curious Lore of San Francisco's Chinatown [and:] San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. San Francisco: The Porpoise Bookshop, 1955;1957. 32; 32; 32 pp. Three volumes of Evans' entertaining little pamphlets, bound together into half-leather over decorated paper boards, with gilt spine labels. Hand-bound by bibliophile, collector, amateur printer and bookbinder Dr. Donovan McCune for Herman Cohen of the Chiswick Bookshop, as noted on the free front endpaper, with gift inscription from McCune to Cohen on the rear pastedown. Head of spine rubbed.
  • Zweig, Stefan. The Old Book-Peddler. Translated by Theiodore Koch. Pasadena: Clinker Press, 2010. First edition thus, one of 140 copies printed. Full tan cloth with printed label on front board and spine.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
