Each card, except for three, illustrated with a series of eight small motion picture photos and one larger photo demonstrating the various stances and swinging of the club for driving, putting, etc. Each card approximately 17.6x13.5 cm (7x5¼"), photo cards inside original publisher's pictorial box. De Luxe Edition.

Especially scarce set of cards in the original publisher's box labeled on the side panels "De Luxe Set. This set has instructions on thirteen clubs." Harry "Lighthorse" Cooper (1904-2000), a Hall of Fame golfer who won the first Vardon Trophy for the lowest average score and won 32 career PGA Tour titles. Arguably one of the best golfers never to win a major, Cooper came close to winning a major several times, including second-place finishes at 1936 Masters and 1927 U.S. Open. Nicknamed "Lighthorse" for the speed of his play. Not in the standard golfing bibliographies. Provenance: From the collection of Theodore Prussing LeVino.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
