A unique specially bound Captain's copy. The Captain of Blackheath in 1897 was William A. Adam and in 1898 G. Spurling, as noted in Henderson & Stirk's Royal Blackheath book. Blackheath is the oldest golf club in England, and this chronicle is the first published history of any club, consisting of extracts from the minute books and records of the clubs, along with portraits of members and pictures of the club.
