One in the "Biblioteca del Niño Mexicano" series of books for children. The Library of the Mexican Child consisted of five series: stories of indigenous tradition, discoveries and conquests, colonial era, independence and modern times, José Guadalupe Posada made 440 drawings for the collection, each booklet included 16 pages and had a printed cover color in the new technique of chromolithography, and inside it had three illustrations in black and white.
