The scarce, unexpurgated true first edition of this account of the trial and execution of Tom Horn. Adams notes that "a threatened law suit required the author and publisher to rewrite and replace seven pages of the illustrations and text after the volume had been printed and bound but before it was released. These changes were made by cutting out the deletions and tipping in new sheet. The text on pages 13 and 54 was changed, as well as several of the illustrations."
