A criticism of the growing anti-Japanese fervor in California and elsewhere, much of it based on false data and nativist resentment. Sidney Lewis Gulick (1860–1945) was an educator, author, and missionary who spent much of his life working to promote greater understanding and friendship between Japanese and American cultures. There are nine copies located in OCLC/WorldCat, and one listed but not located.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
