Josef Albers: His work as contribution to visual articulation in the twentieth century

Gomringer, Eugen

197, [1] pp. 11 serigraph plates with numerous additional color and b&w illustrations. (Oblong 4to) white silk with Albers' squares blindstamped on cover, lettered in black on spine, pictorial jacket. First American Edition.

Among the serigraph plates are seven from Albers' Homage to the Square. Although there is a bit of foxing in the margins the image areas of the serigraph plates remain bright and clean. A very early Albers monograph—in the production of which, according to the Albers Foundation’s website, Albers himself “played a large part”.
