[26] leaves. In Hebrew and Judeo-Italian, printed in Hebrew characters. Title page printed in black and red. With woodcut illustrations throughout. Includes explanatory text in Judeo-Italian. Primary text printed within architectural frame; commentary printed in smaller type within architectural columns on both sides of text. (folio) 32.5x21.8 cm (12¾x8½"), 20th century half tan morocco & patterned boards, spine lettered in gilt, patterned endpapers.

Rare Judeo-Italian Haggadah, extensively illustrated. Yaari 116. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two copies, at the Brandeis University Library, and at Wesleyan University. Bookplate of M. Zagajski.

Lot Amendments

Wear to binding, spine ends scorched, chipped; some staining to contents, many leaves with repairs to edges and corners, a few into the text, 2 leaves trimmed at bottom with loss of text, good condition.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
