 xii, 303, [1] pp. With tables in text, one fold out. (4to) 24.5x20 cm (9¾x8") period half-calf over speckled boards, gilt-ruled, brown morocco spine label lettered in gilt, pale blue endpapers. First Edition. 

Scarce early work on croup. OCLC WorldCat locates only six copies worldwide. Not in Grulee. Not in Wellcome. Not in the British Library Catalogue or any of the other collection catalogues usually consulted.

Lot Amendments
Some wear to binding, rubbing to extremities, corners lightly bumped; strip at top of front endpaper missing, later ownership stamp of F. Mayor Dr. Ch. on title-page, offsetting to endpapers, first and last few leaves foxed with scattered foxing throughout; very good.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
