With scenic fore-edge painting of Kelso, where Scott spent much of his youth. This copy contains two title pages, the engraved first contains an illustrated lake scene, is dated 1811 and noted as "illustrated with engravings" and published by John Sharper, Picadilly (London). Likely the third edition published in 1811, presumably as a re-issue of the 1810 publication.
