Each 6x4", one with pencil ms. draft by Bruce with his instructions to Matthews attached. Unsigned carbon file copies.

Comprises: A) To Variety Magazine: “Please place the following ad as soon as possible: … Wanted: Person with long beard that speaks Yiddish fluently to act as expert witness in important trial in Beverly Hills, December 28.” B) to Cornelia V. Christenson, an assistant to sex researcher to Dr. Alfred Kinsey, who wanted a copy of his SF obscenity trial; 3) to a court reporter asking for a copy of hearing minutes.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
