Account of Manuel del Perez's capture by the Comanche Indians in Texas, first published in the Juvenile Souvenir for 1828. The story was communicated to Mrs. Hofland by a Mr. Parker, who resided at Nachitoches at the period of the boy's return. Early gift inscription dated 1833 on front pastedown. Quite scarce
