Rare complete set of all three volumes, comprising the most comprehensive lawyer's reference book of its time; rarely seen in its entirety. The free endpapers of the final volume bear a handwritten document, being a petition from William Stockwood, Clerk Rector of the Parish Church of Henley Upon Thames in the County of Oxford, addressed to the Lord Bishop of Oxford. With the bookplate of Mr. Cooper Henley.  Only 2 listings for the complete set found at OCLC.

Good amount of wear to boards, vol. 3 with top board and first leaf detached but present, other boards with cracked joints and hinges, many loose but holding; interiors generally very good.
