Description:

viii, 342 pp. Translated into English by Margaret Armour. Illustrated with 26 full-color plates by Arthur Rackham with printed tissue-guards. 24.8x18.8 cm (9¾x7¼"), green cloth-backed gilt-decorated boards, lettered in gilt.

The first Rackham illustrated edition was published in 1911 and contained 30 tipped-in color plates; this copy is a later printing, issued with only 26 plates and not tipped-in. Contains the stories: The Rhinegold, The Valkyrie, Siegfried, and The Twilight of the Gods.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
