Three fine miniature volumes. Includes:

  • Weygand, Phil. Afternoons with the Nappanee Bard. Tipped-in portrait frontispiece. Full black leather with illustrated cover label printed in black and red. Signed by Weygand at the colophon. One of 100 copies. 1963.
  • Frost, Lawrence AGeneral George Armstrong Custer. With 2 tipped-in photographs. Cloth-backed boards. One of about 135 copies. 1968.
  • Gold Fever! Indian Attack on Michigan Emigrants. Frontispiece and illustrations, tipped-in stamp,  foldout map of the Oregon Trail. Cloth-backed illustrated boards. One of about 100 copies. 1975.
  • Also includes a set of unbound pages for Afternoons with the Nappanee Bard.

Collection of scarce miniature titles from Philip Weygand's Wee Willie's Workshop. All illustrated, one with a fold-out map. One volume is signed by Weygand.

Wee Willie’s Workshop was the name of the private press of Philip W. Weygand (1949-1997), located in Dundee, Michigan. Encouraged to print his first book at the age of 12 with the gift of a Kelsey 3” x 5” printing press from his uncle James Lamar Weygand (Press of the Indiana Kid), he specialized in printing fine miniature books.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
