One of 5000 copies published in March, 1943. The same year the Federal government granted A.A. members the right to use cars for 12 step work in emergency cases, despite WW II gas rationing. Also, Bill W. gives speech inside San Quentin prison, which three years earlier had formed one of the first A.A.'s prison groups.
