Seven are partially printed, filled out in ink; three are wholly manuscript. Various sizes, 32x22 cm (12½x8¾") or smaller.
The seven printed documents are licenses for animals, with the company or individual owner registered, and on the back the type of animal (horses, cattle, mules, etc.) number, color, brand, and more; printed notes at the bottom of the document that it is "By command of Brigadier General Wood," (Leonard Wood, Military Governor of Cuba, and later Governor General of the Philippines). Emilio Bacardi, then mayor of Santiago de Cuba, was the son of Facundo Bacardi, the founder of Bacardi Rum.
