One part only of four. With 6 (of 9?) hand-colored mezzotint or aquatint plates from paintings by A. Nunes; 5 leaves only of letterpress description. (4to) 29.5x24 cm (11¾x9½"), period marbled boards. 

One part, incomplete, of Thompson and Nunes' rare botanical, with  six striking and detailed colored plates. The plates are numbered 1 through 9, with no plates 4, 5, or 6, and the text is incomplete as well. Sold as is. OCLC lists only two examples of the set, both at the British Library.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
